The iconic Ducati brand will continue to feature on the MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship support class package.
The 2019 Ducati Performance TriOptions Cup features the 959 Panigale in this Ducati one-make series. The 959 is the latest generation of Ducati ‘middleweight’ or super-mid as they are known which have featured in this championship over the last ten years.
The twin cylinder 959 Panigale incorporates a 157hp, 955cc Superquadro and benefits from Ducati Quick Shift (DQS), Riding Mode technology including Ride-by-Wire, triple-stage Bosch ABS, Ducati Traction Control (DTC) and Engine Brake Control (EBC). It is a bike that is often favoured as a superbike for the road due its lower capacity compared to the more extreme power of the Panigale V4. This useable power combined with sublime handling and limited changes to the standard motorcycle has encouraged close racing, relative affordability and enduring popularity amongst both riders and spectators over the last ten years. The high quality and competitiveness of the field has led to riders stepping successfully up to other classes. 2017 Ducati Performance TriOptions Cup champion, Joe Collier successfully competed in this year’s 2018 Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Championship, finishing a creditable third.
The Ducati Cup will again be sponsored by Ducati TriOptions, the brand name for Ducati Personal Contract Purchase.
Ducati Performance is the brand name for promoting official Ducati accessories many of which will be seen on the bikes racing on track and are also available to purchase through the Ducati dealer network.

Ducati UK has launched a new Personal Contact Purchase (PCP) Finance scheme called TriOptions.
PCP is already an important finance option for many Ducati customers with over 60% of all Ducati Finance taken up currently being financed in this way. This format of finance has been a key part of the car industry for many years due to its combination of low deposits and low monthly repayments.
Ducati UK has embraced this scheme introduced Ducati TriOptions.
TriOptions reflects not only the Tricolore, the Italian flag, but also three, which are the number of options the PCP scheme offers to those customers at the end of their contract.
The three options customers have with TriOptions are:
- Part exchange the bike for a new one
- Return the bike to the Ducati dealer
- Pay the outstanding finance and own the bike outright
For those motorcyclists that want to ride the newest Ducati and be able to keep their options and be able to budget to achieve their motorcycling dream, then TriOptions is the only option to make the desirable affordable.
